Reza Valiyee Alameda County Superior Court Case No. 737686-3 3) City of Berkeley v. Reza Valiyee Alameda County Superior Court Case No. 738903-8 4) City of Berkeley v. Reza Valiyee Alameda County Superior Court Case No. 748526-4 CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL- THREATENED LITIGATION 1) The Council will confer with its attorneys regarding possible litigation which may be initiated to challenge Council action relating to the adoption of ordinances regulating tobacco and alcohol advertising. 2) The Council will confer with its attorneys regarding possible litigation arising out of the City=s adoption and enforcement of Resolution Nos. 57,881-N.S., 59,009-N.S., and 59,107-N.S. as a result of a threat made by letter dated November 20, 1998, to Manuela Albuquerque, City Attorney, from Frank Kittredge, President, National Foreign Trade Council. ADJOURNMENT: (The Council may adjourn this meeting to the City Council Chambers, 2134 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, and reconvene into Open Session at 7:00 p.m. to make a report, if any such report is required by law.) |
