Every two years, a Homeless Count is conducted in Alameda County in order to measure our progress towards ending homelessness and maintain funding for homeless services. Many local organizations and City employees have participated in the count in the past. The City of Berkeley relies on data from the Homeless Count to inform program planning and funding decisions. Everyone Home is the organization that coordinates Alameda County's plan to end homelessness and conducts the Homeless Count. The next Homeless Count will be in January 2013.
