17-11133-C - Civic Center and PSB Carpet Replacement

Project Description: Replacing all carpeting identified on the plans of the City of Berkeley Civic Center Building (2180 Milvia St.) and the Public Safety Building (2100 Martin Luther King Jr. Way). The scope includes removing and disposing of existing carpeting and installing new carpet tile in conformance with Section 09 6813 “Tile Carpeting”, moving all furnishings and office equipment necessary to complete the scope, and moving the furnishings and office equipment to their original locations upon completion and ancillary work in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract Documents.

A California “C-15” - Flooring and Floor Covering Contractors contractor’s license is required to bid this contract. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract.

Project Description: Sewer lateral rehabilitation at the following sites: 830 University Ave. (Ann Chandler Public Health Center), 1203 Second St. (Transfer Station Building), 2100 Block Martin Luther King Jr. Way (McKinley Apartments, Public Safety Building, Alameda County Berkeley Courthouse), and 1326 Allston Way (City of Berkeley Corporation Yard), including ancillary work in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract Documents.

A California “A”, “C42”, or “C34” contractor’s license is required to bid this contract. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. Specialty work may require a specialty contractor’s license held by Bidder or a listed subcontractor.

17-11145 - Bicycle Rack Installation

Scope of work: The work to be done consists, in general, of furnishing and installing bike racks and bike corrals in public right-of-way throughout the City of Berkeley. This includes furnishing of bike racks, installation of bike racks and corrals, removal of meter posts and old bike racks, cleaning of work area as necessary, and traffic control, if necessary.

License required: California Contractor License Classification required (one of the following):

A-1 General Engineering
C-8 Concrete
C-12 Earthwork and Paving
C-13 Fencing
C-32 Parking and Highway Improvement
D-24 Metal Products.
