Scope of Work: The work to be done consists, in general, of constructing or exposing survey monuments in public right-of-way throughout the City of Berkeley. This includes minor concrete work, cleaning of work area as necessary, and traffic control, if necessary. Monument frames and covers and brass markers will be supplied by the City of Berkeley. All work shall be performed in accordance with these plans and specifications.

A California A, C-8, or C-12 contractor's license is required to bid this contract.

15-10927 - John Hinkel Clubhouse - Emergency Demolition and Recovery Services

Scope of Work: The work includes removal and disposal of the Clubhouse structure; recovery of items as described in the scope of work; removal of any hazardous materials from the site; and environmental remediation, including but not limited to erosion control measures, slope repairs and stabilization measures, soil sampling for disposal, universal waste stream haz-catting/lab packing (household chemicals, solvents, paints, etc.), and asbestos/lead abatement.

A California B contractor's license is required to bid this contract.

There is a Mandatory Bid Conference on February 4, 2015, 1:00PM.
Bids are due on February 17, 2015, 2:00PM.
The Contractor shall submit ALL Contract Documents before February 19, 2015.
The Contractor shall be prepared to start work on February 23, 2015.
The Work shall reach Substantial Completion within 30 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed date; and Final Completion within 40 days of the Notice to Proceed date.
Liquidated Damages of $750 per day will be enforced for any days beyond the 40 calendar days not counting rain delay days and holidays.
