Berkeley Day Camp | AGES 5-13
Berkeley Day Camp provides a fun and exciting experience for children ages 5-13 (must have completed Kindergarten). Staff provides a safe environment that helps a child develop social skills and appreciation for our local parks. Day Campers visit both Tilden Park and the Berkeley Marina to enjoy activities including: canoing in the bay, hiking, swimming and arts and crafts like tie dye and candle making. Campers will love playing the field and sports games, learning basic cooking principals and partisipate in a different special event each week.
A typical week will be comprised of two days in Tilden Park and two days at the Berkeley Marina. Tilden Park is located in the Berkeley Hills, a wonderful lush forest with well-marked trails, lakes, ponds and streams. Berkeley Marina includes pier, dock and shoreline habitats to explore, plus canoeing and the acclaimed Adventure Playground. Swim Day occurs every Friday and campers visit several beach locations, such as Lake Anza in Tilden Park or Crown Beach in Alameda.
